Different Occupations....

When you look at the sheer volume of vines here, you cannot imagine having to do all the work by hand, like in the olden days, could you? But in fact a lot of the tweaking is, as you see this woman working away.

Luckily, the larger jobs are done by tractor, and there is a fair level of health and safety with protective clothing and masks.
Back in Bordeaux the streets are being cleaned. A truck comes along with a man who jet sprays all the rubbish, bottles and all into the middle of the street. This is done with such force that a few of the bottles break in the process. Sadly, the man with the sweeping truck has stopped for cafe and a smoke and is running late, and so the rubbish and broken glass sits in the middle of the road or blows back into the gutter!
