More Challenging Market food

As well as the array of delicious, delectable, delightful goodies, there are also some challenging sights for some.
Chickens are quite yellow in appearance, cause they are grain fed, but they are often sold with their feet still attached, albeit nicely tucked up, and sometimes with their heads on too. Ducks are plentiful and prepared in every way possible




These next little beauties are Confit de Cuisses de Canard, duck legs that have been salt cured and then poached in its own fat. I know it looks a trite excessive, but we must remember The Animal has been let loose in the markets and must be allowed to play.....



At least he left the Tripe Pate alone....


I still, for the life of me, don't know how French woman stay so slim. It's not working for me!
