Toulouse

Another train ride, again uneventful, great way to travel. Scored another noisy rugrat, but it would appear they were in someone elses seats. Pardon Monsieur.....Yeah sure.
This time the station is not that far and we make it in a straight line and our room is ready. It's not actually the room I booked, this one has single beds in an attic type bedroom one would reserve for children! Of course I want to move, but John likes the view. Fine, let him be uncomfortable, him in a single bed is just laughable, but I'll be fine, and I only have little feet!
Advantages of this hotel are many. We are 2 mins walk from the food markets, 4 doors from the supermarket, surrounded by restaurants and 2 mins walk to the pub. Wifi is free again, Australia are you listening, no, probably not!
Toulouse doesn't grab me to start with. It's much bigger than Bordeaux 1.2 million and therefore a lot more bustling, and a sense of a little less patience. There is a greater variety of people and very much 2 sides to the city, a seedy side with sex shops and brothels and the nicer side with churches, museums and nice shops. No different to other large towns I guess.
